Fixen Technical Services L.L.C. is hiring a Finishing Carpenter for its Joinery Department in Dubai.
This is a specialist finishing carpenter role, not a general carpenter or helper position.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and finish joinery work, including custom furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, and wall panels.
- Read drawings, take measurements, prepare or follow cutting lists, and complete cutting, fitting, alignment, leveling, and adjustments.
- Check dimensions, joints, gaps, and finish quality; identify discrepancies and carry out repairs or rectification as needed.
- Maintain tools, materials, and work areas and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant UAE experience in joinery and finishing carpentry.
- Practical furniture fabrication, assembly, and installation experience, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to interpret shop and technical drawings; knowledge of measurements, cutting lists, and material handling.
- Attention to detail, reliability, discipline, and willingness to perform hands-on work.
- Candidates currently available in Dubai or the UAE are preferred.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role in Dubai, UAE; work location is in person.
