Joinery Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Engineer to oversee woodwork manufacturing in the factory and manage installation activities at project sites. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in joinery production and site execution within the fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Factory / Manufacturing Supervision:

• Supervise daily joinery production activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings.
• Monitor cutting, assembling, veneering, polishing, painting, and finishing processes.
• Inspect material quality (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, etc.).
• Control material wastage and improve production efficiency.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per project timelines.
• Conduct quality checks before dispatch to site.
• Coordinate with procurement for material planning.
• Maintain production reports and update management regularly.

B) Site Supervision:

• Supervise installation of joinery works at project sites.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other trades.
• Monitor site manpower and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit site progress reports.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained at all stages.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Resolve technical issues during installation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of GCC/UAE experience in joinery / fit-out works.
• Strong knowledge of joinery production and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
