Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Joinery Engineer** to oversee woodwork manufacturing in the factory and manage installation activities at project sites.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in joinery production and site execution within the fit-out industry.
A) Factory / Manufacturing Supervision
- Supervise daily joinery production activities.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings.
- Monitor cutting, assembling, veneering, polishing, painting, and finishing processes.
- Inspect material quality (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, etc.).
- Control material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per project timelines.
- Conduct quality checks before dispatch to site.
- Coordinate with procurement for material planning.
- Maintain production reports and update management regularly.
B) Site Supervision
- Supervise installation of joinery works at project sites.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other trades.
- Monitor site manpower and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit site progress reports.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained at all stages.
- Attend site meetings as required.
- Resolve technical issues during installation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.
Requirements
- 10 to 12 years of GCC/UAE experience in joinery / fit-out works.
- Strong knowledge of joinery production and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
