Role overview

Relevant systems and processes

• Core distribution processes include finance, sales order-to-cash, procurement-to-payables, and inventory.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems in a distribution environment is helpful.
• Systems include JD Edwards ERP and JDA/BlueYonder WMS.

Business requirements

• Elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize requirements through interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
• Analyze processes, system architectures, data flows, and integrations to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain process models, workflows, data dictionaries, specifications, and change requests.
• Perform data modeling, root-cause analysis, and technical research; produce requirements packages and functional specifications.
• Contribute to business cases, ROI analyses, feasibility materials, and technology recommendations.
• Estimate enhancement effort with architecture, development, infrastructure, and support teams.

Solutions design and testing

• Assess solution options for technical, functional, and business suitability; design proposals for modified or replacement systems.
• Identify process and system issues, develop improvements, and present proposed solutions to business and IT stakeholders.
• Develop testing plans and use cases; test systems and support user-acceptance testing.
• Ensure changes are tested, communicated, scheduled, and released to minimize enterprise impact.

Training and team support

• Develop training manuals and aids and train users on new systems and enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-team work, scheduling, and priorities; transfer knowledge and train or mentor team members.

Compensation

• Salary range is USD 150,000–165,000 per year.
