Develop high-performing, scalable enterprise applications as part of a software team working on mission-critical applications.
Manage Java and Java EE application development across the software lifecycle, from concept and design through testing.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and write well-designed, efficient, testable code.
- Ensure designs comply with specifications and prepare software component releases.
- Investigate alternative solutions and technologies and present them for architectural review.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Five to seven years of proven experience as a Java Developer.
- The posting specifies Saudi nationality and being out of work for more than three months.
Technical qualifications
- Extensive experience with Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, web services, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with Spring or similar frameworks and JQuery.
- Strong backend data-layer experience using Hibernate, JPA, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of database concepts, SQL, and stored procedures.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, common design patterns, test-driven development, and Agile/Scrum.
Language
- Very good written and spoken English.
