Provides first-level IT support and assists with network cabling, connectivity, equipment, and low-voltage system troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, crimp, and test Cat6 cables using T568A or T568B configurations.
- Perform LAN cabling, cable testing, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Support computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Wi-Fi, LAN, and internet issues.
- Assist with switches, routers, wireless access points, operating systems, software, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex IT issues to the IT Manager; assist with CCTV and access control troubleshooting when required.
- Maintain equipment, cabling records, inventory, and support logs; follow IT policies, safety procedures, and cabling standards.
Qualifications and skills
- Basic knowledge of Cat6 cable crimping, termination, and testing.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking; ability to troubleshoot common IT and connectivity issues.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and support daily IT operations.
- Previous IT support experience or an IT-related diploma is advantageous.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
