Fitness Attendant responsible for maintaining a hotel fitness centre and common areas.
The role combines cleaning, equipment care, guest service, amenity restocking, and compliance with safety and hygiene procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy the fitness centre and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Keep equipment clean, maintained, and securely stored.
- Use cleaning products correctly and report damaged or missing items.
- Process lost and found items according to hotel policy.
- Respond to guest requests courteously and provide personal service.
- Respect guest privacy and report comments or complaints.
- Keep amenities complete and restock guest lockers.
- Sort dirty linen and waste and keep corridors clear of obstacles.
- Handle hotel equipment and supplies carefully.
- Support energy saving, recycling, and other environmental practices.
- Adapt to rotating working times.
Guest and Workplace Standards
- Escort guests when assisting them rather than only pointing out directions.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and protect guest privacy in the fitness centre.
Job Type and Pay
- This is a full-time, in-person role.
- Pay is AED 2,000–2,500 per month.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the fitness centre and common areas.
- Ability to attend to guest requests courteously and promptly.
- Ability to respect guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to rotate across different working times.
- Ability to handle hotel equipment and supplies with due care.
