IT support and networking duties
- Install, terminate, and crimp Cat6 network cables using standard T568A/T568B wiring configurations; perform basic LAN cabling, cable testing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Support computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment; troubleshoot hardware, software, Wi-Fi, LAN, and internet issues.
- Assist with installing and configuring network switches, routers, and wireless access points; install and configure operating systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Provide first-level staff support and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager.
- Assist with basic CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage system troubleshooting when required.
- Maintain IT equipment, cabling records, inventory, and support logs; follow IT policies, safety procedures, and cabling standards.
- Carry out other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Manager or immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and skills
- Basic knowledge of Cat6 cable crimping, termination, and testing.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking, with ability to troubleshoot common IT and connectivity issues.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and support daily IT operations.
- Previous IT support experience or an IT-related diploma is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
