Provide customer-focused technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, software, and applications.
- Set up and maintain routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and basic network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
- Configure user accounts, email, Microsoft 365, and access permissions.
- Perform hardware installations, system upgrades, preventive maintenance, and basic network cabling.
- Maintain technical documentation, service reports, and IT asset records.
- Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex technical issues when required.
- Provide on-site technical support at customer locations and resolve service requests promptly.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, desktop support, or technical troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, printers, and peripherals.
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email configuration, and user account management.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple support requests, and travel to customer sites within the UAE.
Pay
- AED 2,500–2,501 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
- The role provides on-site technical support at customer locations and involves travel to customer sites within the UAE.
