Provide technical assistance to employees, maintain computer systems, and support the operation of company IT equipment and software.
Work location is in person in Doha, Qatar.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support employees with computer hardware, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer, network, and application issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with network connectivity, email setup, and user account management.
- Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and basic data backups.
- Monitor equipment and report technical problems requiring further attention.
- Record IT issues, repairs, and support requests.
- Promote proper use and security of company IT equipment and systems.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and user account management.
- Ability to provide prompt technical support to employees and resolve IT issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
