IT Security Infrastructure Specialist

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and run IT security infrastructure across multiple technologies.
• Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise firewalls, including Checkpoint, F5, AWS, and Azure-native firewalls.
• Administer and update Akamai WAF policies.
• Oversee enterprise networking, including communication protocols, address translation, and network load balancers.
• Support cloud-native firewall solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Use AlgoSec or equivalent firewall policy management solutions.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and always-on performance.
• Apply enterprise problem, change, and incident management methodologies.
• Use programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and database concepts in technical delivery.
• Maintain understanding of IT security principles and the software development lifecycle.

• Advanced technical expertise in infrastructure and security technologies.
• Proficiency with networking protocols and enterprise-level communications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native security technologies and associated tools.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience in enterprise IT problem-solving and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant IT security certifications such as CISM or CISSP.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Developer Associate certification.

Critical Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT security experience in large enterprise environments supporting 10,000+ users across multiple geographies.
• Proven deployment and support experience for infrastructure and applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with firewall policy management tools such as AlgoSec.
• Demonstrated ability to scope, shape, and deliver IT security solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Enterprise IT security experience in geographically diverse environments.
• Strong knowledge of WAF, network load balancers, and cloud-based networking technologies.
• In-depth understanding of automation in IT security processes.
