Role Overview

Technical Requirements
- At least 15 years of overall IT experience and at least 5 years in GCP or Azure cloud environments are mandatory.
- At least 5 years of relevant systems automation engineering experience is mandatory.
- Experience with Azure or GCP Kubernetes services is mandatory.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, deployment support tools, and AZDO or a similar CI/CD tool is required.
- Strong understanding of security, monitoring, and performance for cloud-native platforms and application architectures is required.
- Experience delivering reliable systems and environments and managing product or application owners is required.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems and services and automate deployment processes.
- Ensure system scaling, investigate outages, and implement preventive measures.
- Analyze major and chronic issues, evaluate services, and recommend improvements.
- Design, build, test, and operationalize tools with product, engineering, and architecture teams.
- Advise application owners and architects during application onboarding as a Kubernetes advocate.
- Maintain Kubernetes cluster reliability, availability, and performance.
- Monitor metrics, troubleshoot issues, and improve resource utilization and scaling.
- Mentor team members and collaborate with onshore and offshore operations engineers.

- Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and performance management.
- Capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive technology and process improvement.
