Role overview
The IT Manager supports reliable hotel hardware and software, installs systems, improves security, and equips hotel teams with the tools they need.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Service computer hardware and ensure systems are properly installed and operating efficiently; report regularly to hotel and area leaders.
- Maintain knowledge of approved systems and technology, including LAN and point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain hardware and software performance and digital and physical security standards; evaluate vendor proposals.
- Share expertise through team training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Safeguard IT infrastructure against cyberthreats.
Candidate requirements
- Diploma or vocational certificate in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Four years of related computer setup and troubleshooting experience.
- Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, and databases.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication.
- Be a collaborative, proactive, responsible, hardworking team player who can work under pressure.
