Role Overview
Lead IT and digital transformation for a fast-growing manufacturing organization across sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The role focuses on factory-floor efficiency, automation, cloud migration, ERP optimization, connectivity, and real-time decision-making.
The position reports directly to the COO.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead the transition from legacy systems to a modern cloud-first environment.
- Improve how manufacturing data is captured, shared, and used across operations.
- Build a scalable IT model for temporary project sites and remote locations.
- Integrate IT with production operations through IoT, automation, and shop-floor tracking.
- Maximize the value of a cloud ERP system, ideally Epicor, for inventory visibility and manufacturing analytics.
- Migrate on-premises servers, storage, and PABX infrastructure to secure cloud platforms.
- Establish a plug-and-play IT setup for fast deployment at multiple project sites.
- Lead a lean team and work closely with vendors to deliver strong outcomes efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 8 years of IT leadership experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or fast-paced logistics.
- Strong exposure to shop-floor technology, including ERP integration, barcode or RFID solutions, and automated reporting.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with SD-WAN networking for remote sites and modern VoIP or UCaaS solutions.
- Ability to prevent downtime, solve bottlenecks early, and drive change confidently.
- Ability to combine strategy, execution, and hands-on problem-solving.
Location
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and supports multiple sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
