Department: Information Technology (IT)
Reports To: IT Manager / IT Supervisor
Job Summary:
The IT Assistant is responsible for supporting the organization’s IT systems, maintaining computer hardware and software, and assisting employees with technical issues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting system and network problems.
- Support the maintenance of company servers, email systems, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor system performance and report any issues to the IT Manager.
- Maintain records of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Assist with system updates, backups, and data security procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
