The IT Assistant supports hotel technology reliability and performance through equipment changes, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and service support.
IT responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate IT equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements.
- Operate computer and peripheral equipment; resolve non-routine hardware, software, and guest room internet issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and maintain technology-device inventory.
- Maintain PBX/telephone switchboard systems and related hardware.
- Keep computer and telephone rooms locked and restrict access using the interrogated key system.
Service, safety, and team responsibilities
- Follow company procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and comply with quality and safety standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and communicate professionally.
- Support team goals, maintain positive working relationships, and serve as a departmental role model or mentor.
- Inspect tools and equipment, use computers and POS systems, and perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is specified as preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified as preferred; no license or certification is specified.

- The position is full time and located at Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
