Overview
We are working exclusively with a fast-growing, VC-backed e-commerce acquirer based in Dubai to find their next senior commercial hire.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in deal environments - not a support function, not a hand-holder.
You will own the full acquisition process from first founder conversation through to a signed Letter of Intent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery calls with e-commerce founders - build rapport, understand the business, and introduce the idea of an acquisition
- Manage founders through the psychology of selling their business - handle objections with confidence and empathy
- Review P&Ls, financial statements, and business data - conduct initial audits across revenue quality, margins, ad dependency, and growth trajectory
- Structure offers using an internal valuation model (cash + earnout) and negotiate price, terms, and deal economics directly with sellers
- Drive each deal through to a signed LOI and hand off cleanly to the due diligence team
- About you :
- Background in business brokerage, M&A advisory, or full-cycle BD with genuine financial analysis exposure
- Able to read a P&L, identify risks, and negotiate deal structure with confidence
- E-commerce or SME acquisition experience is a strong differentiator
