Position

Business Head / Investment Manager – Data Centre, based in Dubai.

Leads investment activities for data centre projects and assets.

Investment and Portfolio Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, structure, and execute data centre investment opportunities.
  • Conduct financial modelling, feasibility studies, valuation, and investment return analysis.
  • Evaluate market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs, and revenue potential.
  • Build relationships with developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Support commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and operational due diligence.
  • Prepare investment proposals, business cases, board presentations, and investment committee materials.
  • Monitor UAE and wider GCC market trends, including hyperscaler requirements, colocation, and power infrastructure.
  • Identify joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships, and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate transaction structuring, negotiations, documentation, financial close, and post-investment activities.
  • Track portfolio performance, returns, milestones, and risks; recommend strategies to maximise asset value.

Requirements

  • Experience leading investment activities for data centre projects, including opportunity identification, evaluation, structuring, and execution.
  • Ability to conduct financial modelling, feasibility studies, valuation, and investment return analysis for data centre assets and development opportunities.
  • Ability to assess investment opportunities using market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs, and revenue potential.
  • Experience supporting commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and operational due diligence.
  • Ability to prepare investment proposals, business cases, board presentations, and investment committee materials with recommendations and risk assessments.
  • Ability to develop relationships with developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants, and other stakeholders.
