Role overview

Investment and portfolio responsibilities

• Lead data centre investment activities from opportunity identification and evaluation through structuring and execution.
• Conduct financial modelling, feasibility studies, valuation, and investment return analysis for assets and development opportunities.
• Evaluate market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs, and long-term revenue potential.
• Build relationships with developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and operational due diligence.
• Prepare investment proposals, business cases, board presentations, and investment committee materials with recommendations and risk assessments.
• Monitor UAE and wider GCC trends in data centre demand, hyperscaler requirements, colocation, power infrastructure, and investment opportunities.
• Identify joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships, and development opportunities to expand the investment portfolio.
• Coordinate teams and external advisors through structuring, negotiations, documentation, financial close, and post-investment activities.
• Track portfolio performance, returns, milestones, and risks; recommend strategies to maximize asset value and long-term returns.

• Assess opportunities using market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs, and revenue potential.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory, and operational due diligence.
• Monitor UAE and wider GCC data centre trends, including demand, hyperscaler requirements, colocation, power infrastructure, and investment trends.
• Coordinate internal teams and external advisors through transaction structuring, negotiations, documentation, financial close, and post-investment activities.
• Track portfolio performance, returns, milestones, and risks and recommend strategies to maximize asset value and long-term returns.
