Lead Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) operations at an Amazon fulfilment centre.
Fulfilment centre teams stow deliveries, pick and package products, and ship orders in a fast-paced environment where policy and process adherence are important.
Key responsibilities
- Develop expertise in fulfilment centre process paths and exception handling, ensuring process discipline across shifts and departments.
- Review KPIs daily, weekly, or monthly and analyse controls and quality issues that could affect inventory integrity.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify key projects, initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Work with Loss Prevention teams to establish, influence, and follow Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and General Managers to communicate process-discipline policies.
- Support interviewing and hiring new Managers.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluent spoken, written, and reading English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in auditing, risk management, compliance, program management, or quality management systems.
- Experience in a distribution centre, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing and developing a high-performance team and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts such as forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization, and logistics, or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
