Job Overview
To assist in implementing and monitoring internal control processes to ensure the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, and efficient business operations within the given resource and compliance constraints.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal control systems to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls, identifying risks and inefficiencies.
- Review and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing and executing risk-based audit plans, focusing on areas of operational and financial risk.
- Prepare reports on audit findings, highlighting discrepancies, risks, and suggesting corrective actions for senior management.
- Work with department heads to ensure that internal controls are integrated into business processes and followed consistently.
- Provide support in managing corrective actions resulting from audits or control assessments, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist in coordinating with external auditors to ensure the organization’s compliance with external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of audit results, risks, and compliance actions, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of internal control processes, suggesting enhancements to increase efficiency and mitigate risks.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 – 4 years of experience in internal control, audit, or finance, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
