Internal Compliance Manager

Job summary

Key responsibilities

• Lead reviews and control testing against policies, governance requirements, and Delegation of Authority frameworks.
• Assess procurement, finance, and HR controls, including vendor processes, contracts, payments, expenses, employee records, payroll inputs, training, and access.
• Identify compliance breaches, control weaknesses, policy deviations, and emerging risks; support remediation and validate corrective-action closure.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive updates; support investigations and special reviews of irregularities, fraud indicators, and non-compliance.
• Manage and develop Internal Compliance Associates and ensure consistent review standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CFE, CISA, CRMA, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Governance, or Forensic Reviews.
• Experience reviewing Procurement, Finance, HR, and Shared Services processes; conducting risk-based reviews, control testing, issue validation, and executive reporting.
• Experience managing stakeholders, influencing process improvements, and prior team supervision or management.

Preferred experience and competencies

• Experience in hospitality, leisure, entertainment, attractions, government-related entities, or complex multi-site organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP, Procurement, Finance, and HR systems; Power BI, Excel, or analytics tools is preferred.
• Key competencies include integrity, professional judgment, analytical and investigative ability, stakeholder management, constructive challenge, communication, report writing, attention to detail, and managing competing priorities.
