Identify risks and weaknesses and recommend practical improvements to efficiency and asset protection.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
- Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits across departments.
- Evaluate internal controls, policies, and procedures; identify risks, control gaps, fraud indicators, and process inefficiencies.
- Prepare clear reports with findings, root causes, and recommendations; follow up with management on corrective actions.
- Review compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and applicable standards.
- Verify financial records, inventory counts, and cash handling.
- Support external audits and coordinate with external auditors when required.
- Report audit results to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CIA certification is required.
- More than five years of internal audit experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IIA standards, internal controls, and risk assessment.
- Good understanding of IFRS and UAE regulations, including VAT and corporate tax basics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; ERP or accounting-system experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Good command of English; Arabic is stated as a must in the requirements, though a separate language listing labels it preferred.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 7,000–9,000 per month.
