The employer seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources functions for a retail store.
The role covers recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, UAE labor compliance, and supporting a productive customer-serving team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding retail store staff.
- Handle visa, work permit, Emirates ID, and labor card processes through MOHRE and ICP.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, WPS, and health insurance requirements.
- Oversee monthly payroll, leave records, benefits, and end-of-service gratuity.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit processes.
- Implement performance appraisals and organize training and development programs.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and the employee handbook.
- Maintain HR records and prepare management reports, budgets, and headcount forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and government systems MOHRE, ICP, and WPS.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Fluent English and Arabic; Arabic is required.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing organizations is a plus.
- CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay
- Pay is AED 7,000–8,000 per month.
