Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have the design judgement to create interiors that are cohesive, durable and suited to their users.

They will understand how furniture and equipment decisions affect spatial planning, building services and day-to-day operation.

The candidate should be comfortable working with designers and suppliers, assessing alternatives against intended quality and keeping procurement information aligned with approved design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage interior design and furniture, fixtures and equipment scope across the programme's buildings.
  • Review interior packages, finishes schedules and FF&E specifications against the client brief and approved design intent.
  • Coordinate furniture and equipment layouts with architectural dimensions, circulation, MEP services and IT connection requirements.
  • Check that finishes and products satisfy client standards, durability, maintenance and life-safety requirements.
  • Review samples and mock-ups, recording selections and outstanding comments before procurement progresses.
  • Assess procurement submittals and proposed substitutions for compatibility with approved finishes and FF&E schedules.
  • Track procurement, delivery and installation interfaces, identifying missing vendor information or decisions affecting the programme.
  • Coordinate installation requirements, fixing provisions, access and clearances with design teams and specialist suppliers.
  • Maintain FF&E and finishes review records and follow technical queries and design comments through to close-out.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • 10+ years in interior design or FF&E management on large projects.
  • Experience on government, institutional, hospitality or accommodation facilities.
  • Must meet client security vetting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of finishes, furniture and equipment specifications, product suitability and procurement documentation.
  • Ability to interpret coordinated layouts and assess samples, mock-ups and substitutions against the intended function and quality.
  • Desirable: Institutional or secure facility experience; KSA project exposure.
