Entry-level Instrumentation Sales Engineer role for a motivated fresher joining the sales team.
Support sales, understand customer requirements, promote instrumentation products, and develop customer relationships in industrial sectors.
Sales and customer support
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, level instruments, control valves, and process automation equipment.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Prepare quotations, technical offers, and product proposals with guidance from senior team members.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding inquiries and orders.
- Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and customer feedback.
Presentations, visits, and records
- Assist with technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Visit customer sites and attend client meetings when required.
- Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and business activity records.
- Learn about new products, industry standards, and market developments.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation and process control.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with willingness to learn technical sales and business development.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to understand technical datasheets and specifications.
- Good negotiation, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
