The General Helper supports skilled workers and supervisors in day-to-day site activities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist technicians, masons, painters, carpenters, and other skilled workers as required.
- Load, unload, carry, and arrange materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.
- Support material shifting and site preparation activities.
- Help set up and dismantle tools, equipment, and temporary work areas.
- Follow instructions from the supervisor or team leader.
- Handle tools and materials safely and store them properly after use.
- Remove debris, waste materials, and scrap from the work area.
- Follow site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or site issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other general site-support duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be physically fit and able to perform manual work.
- Be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Have a basic understanding of workplace safety requirements.
- Be willing to work at different site locations and perform various support duties.
Workplace
- Work is in person and may involve different site locations.
