Responsibilities
- Inspect lifting equipment for compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Apply applicable regulations and standards to uphold safety and quality criteria.
- Prepare detailed reports with findings, recommendations, and compliance status, and maintain inspection records.
- Participate in EIAC audits and demonstrate knowledge of inspection processes and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate schedules and resolve concerns with internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders.
- Monitor industry developments and recommend improvements to inspection processes.
- Assess equipment quality over its lifecycle and advise on maintenance, repair, or replacement.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on lifting equipment inspection experience; the description says 3–5 years, while platform fields also state two years.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Lifting equipment inspection certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication with clients and auditors, strong attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
