Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping, accurately recording financial transactions on time.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Issue client invoices and maintain accounts receivable records.
• Follow up on outstanding payments, collect receivables, and visit clients when required for payment collection or document submission.
• Track payments, outstanding balances, and collection status; reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare statements of account and payment reminders; coordinate customer account matters with sales and finance teams.
• Handle cash and cheque collections and ensure timely submission to the company.
• Maintain organized records and assist with bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, reporting, auditing, taxation, and other finance duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of UAE experience in accounting, collections, credit control, or a related role is mandatory.
• Hands-on Tally ERP or Tally Prime experience is mandatory; the posting also lists three years of Bazar and Tally Prime experience as required.
• A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
• Customer payment collection and follow-up experience; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of UAE business and accounting practices and good written and verbal English.
• Ability to travel within the UAE, visit customers, manage competing tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Bazar Accounting System experience is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.

Workplace and employment

• Work location is in person in Dubai.
• The position is full-time and permanent.
