Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping; record transactions accurately and on time; prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Issue client invoices, maintain accounts receivable records, follow up on outstanding payments, and collect receivables.
• Visit clients for payment collection and document submission when required; track collected payments, balances, and collection status.
• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, prepare statements of account, and send payment reminders.
• Coordinate with sales and finance teams; handle cash and cheque collections and submit collections promptly.
• Assist with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, financial reports, auditing, taxation, and other finance-related tasks.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a later section also calls the bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of UAE experience in accounting, collections, or a related field is mandatory.
• Hands-on Tally ERP/Tally Prime experience and a valid UAE driving license are mandatory.
• The posting separately lists 3 years of Bazar and Tally Prime experience as required; Bazar Accounting System experience is also described as an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
• Customer payment collection experience, Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency, UAE accounting knowledge, and written and spoken English are specified.
• Must be able to visit customers and travel within the UAE for collections when required.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,500–4,500 per month.
