The employer is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain transaction records and support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Process journal entries and issue client invoices; maintain accounts receivable records.
- Maintain accounting systems, charts of accounts, bookkeeping procedures, subsidiary accounts, reconciliations, and historical records.
- Prepare financial reports and required regulatory filings.
- Assist with accounting, auditing, taxation, and other finance projects; support the finance team.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is listed; bachelor's education is also marked preferred.
- At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred; 3 years is listed as preferred in the experience details.
- Hands-on Tally ERP/Tally Prime experience is mandatory; Bazar Accounting System experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; business-level written and verbal English is essential.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure; analytical, organizational, problem-solving, detail, integrity, initiative, professionalism, and teamwork qualities are sought.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 4,000 per month.
