Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners, and approved peripherals.
- Install and configure devices, operating systems, and approved software; carry out updates and preventive maintenance.
- Provide daily technical support and resolve basic hardware, software, and printer faults.
- Configure user devices to SRTA standards and policies and visit external SRTA offices to assess needs and resolve support tickets.
- Log and track tickets, document actions, and escalate advanced issues to Level 2.
- Support basic connectivity issues in coordination with network and systems teams.
- Prepare user guides and technical instructions; train users on operating systems and approved applications.
- Carry out other related technical support duties assigned by the direct manager.
Technical Skills
- Windows client OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office and Outlook end-user support.
- Printer, scanner, and peripheral setup and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking, including LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity and IP configuration.
- Ticketing or service desk tools and ITIL-style incident handling.
- Customer service and communication skills in Arabic and English.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Arabic proficiency is mandatory.
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory because the role involves travel between SRTA sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop / Endpoint Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
- Previous experience supporting a UAE government entity is preferred.
- Additional hands-on practical experience beyond the minimum is preferred.
