Overview
We are looking for a skilled
IT Network & Security Engineer
responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and multi-vendor firewall technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
- Configure and troubleshoot Layer 3 switches (VLANs, routing, inter-VLAN, ACLs)
- Implement and maintain firewall solutions across multiple vendors
- Handle installation, configuration, and support of firewalls including:
- Fortinet (FortiGate)
- Sophos
• Palo Alto Networks
- Configure and manage:
• VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- NAT, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP basics preferred)
- Network security policies and access control
- Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
- Support implementation of security best practices and compliance standards
- Provide L2/L3 support and handle escalations
- Maintain documentation (network diagrams, configurations, SOPs)
• Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of networking concepts:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with Layer 3 switch configuration
- Proven experience with at least 2 or more firewall vendors:
- *Fortinet*
- *Sophos*
Palo Alto Networks
- Experience in VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of network security concepts (IPS/IDS, web filtering, endpoint security)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- ***Certifications such as:***
- NSE (Fortinet)
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
- Palo Alto Networks certifications
- Check Point Software Technologies certifications
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Exposure to endpoint security and EDR solutions
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python)
Soft Skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Customer-facing experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving mindset
