Security leadership and compliance
- Develop and implement information security strategies, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Oversee compliance with applicable UAE legislation, Abu Dhabi government requirements, and relevant information assurance frameworks.
- Lead security risk assessments, audits, and remediation plans.
- Oversee security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
Protection, resilience, and reporting
- Manage data protection, access controls, cloud security, and third-party security risks.
- Coordinate cybersecurity resilience and disaster recovery with business continuity arrangements, supporting alignment with applicable NCEMA requirements.
- Manage security providers, deliver employee awareness programs, and report security risks and performance to management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in information security and 3 years in a leadership role.
- Practical experience applying UAE cybersecurity and data protection requirements, Abu Dhabi government security requirements, and relevant NCEMA standards.
- Strong experience in security governance, risk management, audits, and incident response.
- CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent relevant certification is preferred; UAE government or regulated-sector experience is preferred.
