Overview

We are hiring an In-Process Laboratory Technician to join a leading advanced composite aerostructures manufacturing company in the UAE. This role supports production by performing routine testing and inspections to ensure product quality and process control.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare test samples according to approved work instructions
• Perform routine laboratory tests and in-process inspections
• Ensure all testing follows safety and quality procedures
• Record test results, maintain logs, and prepare reports
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure proper functionality
• Maintain laboratory documentation and records
• Follow strict procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Work closely with production and quality teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience using laboratory tools, chemicals, or testing equipment
• Ability to follow technical procedures and instructions
• Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience in composite material testing (e.g. fibre weight, chemical testing)
• Experience handling hazardous materials safely

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAP or LIMS systems

Working Conditions

• Based in the UAE
• Laboratory environment
• Shift work required (day and night rotation)
• May involve handling chemicals and laboratory equipment
