Human Resources Business Partner

Job purpose

HR business partnering

• Implement the UAE People operating plan in line with corporate policies and protocols; resolve staff HR issues through consistent policy interpretation.
• Develop job descriptions, support headcount requests and recruitment, and coordinate performance reviews, probation meetings, and one-to-ones.
• Investigate grievances, recommend resolutions, document cases, and determine disciplinary action in accordance with company procedures.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze and report findings; oversee employee information, reporting, and data integrity.
• Monitor headcount and personnel costs, analyze HR KPIs, audit HRIS accuracy and functionality, and escalate employee issues to the Corporate People Team.
• Administer people programs across workforce planning, resourcing, performance, development, rewards, employee relations, payroll, HRIS, costing, compliance, and reporting.
• Serve as the HR liaison for management and interdepartmental projects; promote the People Business Partner model and improve operational service delivery.
• Monitor overtime trends and recommend corrective action for compliance and cost control; partner with Operations on cost optimization using HR data and insights.
• Lead workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and resource allocation for the assigned business unit; own its end-to-end HR life cycle.

Experience and qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or luxury retail.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and a valid driving license.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in HR or another field; knowledge of UAE Labour Law and statutory compliance.
• CIPD membership preferred.
