Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Offer support to managers and employees with employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and policy guidance.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees, acting as a reliable first point of contact for HR queries.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to senior HR leadership or external advisors where appropriate.
• Contribute to engagement, culture and retention initiatives, helping to ensure that people practices are consistent, compliant and aligned with the needs of a fast-paced business .
• Provide guidance to managers on handling performance issues fairly and consistently.
• Support the delivery of employee feedback, engagement and retention activities.
• Help identify trends from employee feedback, ER cases and HR data to support improvements in people practices.
• Manage a range of employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, absence management and performance-related concerns.
• Provide guidance on UK employment law and support compliance with relevant UAE and US employment practices, working with external advisors where required.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, internal changes, promotions, family leave, absence, exits and offboarding.
• Support payroll processes across multiple regions by ensuring employee data is submitted accurately and on time.
• Work with finance, managers and external providers to resolve payroll queries.
• The Human Resources advisor will possess previous experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar hands-on HR role. You will have good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, experience advising managers on HR policies, employee relations and performance matters, be confident preparing HR letters, meeting notes and employee documentation. You will have experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, changes and offboarding, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and good communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with managers and employees at all levels.
