Eden Rose is currently partnering with a financial institution within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) who are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to support the next phase of growth.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the role has evolved from a traditional accounting-focused requirement into a broader leadership position focused on innovation, business partnering, regulatory engagement, and strategic financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small finance team
- Lead divisional financial performance, ensuring profit, revenue, and cost targets are achieved
- Identify risks across business units and implement turnaround strategies where needed
- Oversee financial reporting, control, and compliance to maintain quality and accuracy of financials
- Establish and optimize business processes with a focus on automation and efficiency
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, aligning people, systems, and processes with strategic goals
- Advise executive board members, shareholders, and senior management on financial and strategic matters
- The CFO will hold a Bachelors' degree, a professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- You will have 10-15 years Finance experience in fintech, banking or financial services within the UAE or UK.
Experience
within start-up, scale-up, challenger bank, or fintech environments is highly desirable and candidates from global institutions will be considered if they have also worked in smaller, more entrepreneurial environments.
