Job Summary

Hse And Safety Officers

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and statutory HSE regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of construction, maintenance, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all project activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Safety, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Internationally recognized First Aid Certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Onshore Projects

• Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in any industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects involving:
• + Construction
• + Fabrication
• + Installation
• + Commissioning

Offshore Projects

• Minimum 6 years of offshore HSE experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects involving:
• + Satellite Wellheads

+ Process Complex Facilities

+ Unmanned Wellhead Towers (WHTs)

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident investigation.

• Physically fit to work in hot and humid onshore/offshore environments.

Mandatory Requirements

• GCC Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
• Onshore and Offshore experience will be preferred.
• Valid original passport.
• Updated CV/Resume.
• Experience certificates supporting Gulf Oil & Gas employment.
