Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15-20 years of total experience in civil construction.
• 3-4 years of ADNOC Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in Greenfield and Brownfield Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, resource management (Manpower, Machinery & Materials), and project execution.
• Thorough understanding of ADNOC specifications, QA/QC standards, HSE regulations, and Permit-to-Work systems.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Technical Expertise

• Mass concrete and foundation works.
• Pipe rack concrete structures.
• Industrial buildings and warehouses.
• RCC trenches, manholes, and underground utilities.
• Roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure works.
• Earthworks, excavation, backfilling, and site development.
• Construction planning, productivity monitoring, and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete execution of civil construction activities, including earthworks, mass foundations, concrete structures, buildings, underground utilities, roads, and infrastructure works.
• Lead and supervise Civil Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project execution.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth multidisciplinary construction activities.
• Ensure all civil works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, ADNOC standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, manpower, equipment utilization, and material availability to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting productivity, resource allocation, and construction status.
• Identify construction risks, schedule delays, and resource constraints, implementing effective corrective and recovery plans.
• Plan work fronts and optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, documentation, and handover activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to resolve technical and construction-related issues efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and company safety standards, maintaining an incident-free work environment.
• Participate in project planning meetings by providing construction inputs, resource forecasts, and progress updates.
• Support project completion, punch-list clearance, and final handover in accordance with contractual and client requirements.
