HSE Officer / Safety Officer
About This Role
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices on site, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Carry out Risk Assessments (RA) and conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT)
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records
- Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance
- Coordinate with site teams to correct unsafe acts and conditions
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certification (IGC or equivalent) – Mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HSE/Safety role
- Basic knowledge of UAE HSE standards and regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct safety training and awareness sessions
- Familiarity with safety procedures and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction industry
- Knowledge of environmental management practices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
