Walco Middle East is hiring an HSE Officer for Oil & Gas operations in Qatar.
Local candidates only; immediate joiners preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE requirements and applicable regulations.
- Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems and verify job safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
- Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
- Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure safe working practices.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures during maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Total experience: minimum 5 years.
- Oil & Gas experience: minimum 3 years.
- QatarEnergy approval mandatory and valid for the relevant position.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification mandatory.
- Valid Qatar driving license mandatory.
- Local candidates in Qatar; immediate joiners preferred.
