Education
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
Key responsibilities
- Review client RFQs, ITTs, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for equipment supply, servicing, maintenance, testing, and overhaul.
- Estimate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontracting, transportation, and other project costs.
- Analyze technical requirements, drawings, scopes of work, and specifications for client compliance.
- Prepare costing sheets, BOQs, pricing summaries, and commercial quotations.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations; coordinate with engineering, workshop, operations, procurement, and sales.
- Identify tender risks, exclusions, deviations, and commercial conditions; submit accurate tenders on time.
- Follow up with clients on quotations, clarifications, negotiations, and award status.
- Maintain tender and estimation records, and support business development with competitive offers.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company procedures, and applicable Oil & Gas industry standards.
Experience and technical requirements
- Proven Oil & Gas experience in estimation, proposals, and tendering.
- Technical knowledge of valves and their servicing, testing, and overhaul; pumps; gearboxes and rotating equipment; and heat exchangers and related maintenance.
- Ability to interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and scope-of-work documents.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, pricing strategies, and commercial quotation preparation.
- Experience coordinating suppliers and subcontractors; familiarity with Oil & Gas tender procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
