Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies at construction sites.
• Conduct site safety inspections and identify hazards and risks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and project safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and worker awareness training.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, safety reports, and inspection records.
• Monitor PPE use and ensure safe working practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety matters with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor work permits and safe procedures for high-risk activities.
• Ensure housekeeping, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental protection.
• Report safety violations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• A relevant HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH IGC, is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and construction site safety procedures.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety activities.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
