Role overview

HSE leadership and construction safety

• Lead project-wide HSE management systems and develop project plans, procedures, emergency response plans, and safety initiatives.
• Advise project leadership, the client, and the project management team; establish and report HSE KPIs and lead safety reviews.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems; conduct inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Oversee high-risk work, including excavation, lifting, confined space entry, work at height, electrical installations, hot works, and heavy equipment operations.

Data centre safety and risk

• Lead safety oversight during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of hyperscale data centres and mission-critical facilities.
• Monitor safety during installation and testing of electrical, power, cooling, fuel, fire protection, and ICT infrastructure.
• Support energization management, lockout/tagout, isolation controls, Integrated Systems Testing, and commissioning safety protocols.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, HAZID workshops, and JHA reviews; investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Environment, training, and audits

• Ensure environmental compliance and monitor waste management, pollution prevention, dust suppression, water conservation, and noise control.
• Develop HSE training, site inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns; conduct internal and contractor audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements
