Job Overview
The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for the company, with a strong focus on sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified staff and manpower for construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry, and will work closely with department heads to ensure timely hiring of suitable talent to support operational and project requirements.
Job Description
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the construction and infrastructure industry.
- Source qualified candidates through job portals, social media platforms, recruitment agencies, career fairs, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and suitability for assigned roles.
- Coordinate with department heads and project managers to understand staffing requirements for technical, administrative, skilled, and unskilled positions.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, labor suppliers, and external partners to ensure timely mobilization of manpower.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, and manpower status updates for HR management.
- Conduct reference checks, salary negotiations, and employment offer processes.
- Support employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation processes for newly hired staff.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the construction, contracting, or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, labor laws, and hiring procedures.
- Experience in recruiting both white-collar staff and skilled/unskilled labor manpower for construction projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and recruitment platforms.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and recruitment networks.
