Role overview

People strategy and HR operations

• Align HR initiatives with IHG standards and local employment legislation.
• Manage payroll, compensation and benefits, departmental budget, office resources, and operational expenses.
• Monitor turnover, absenteeism, and exit interview trends; prepare and communicate monthly HR reports and insights.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and employee lifecycle activities.
• Lead performance management, coach leaders, and promote development conversations and continuous feedback.
• Recruit, train, motivate, coach, and develop the HR team.
• Drive colleague communication, engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and engagement survey action plans.
• Oversee colleague facilities, including cafeteria, lockers, public areas, and smoking areas.
• Maintain HR records, employee files, and HR systems while protecting data privacy.
• Partner with department leaders to strengthen leadership capability and service culture; ensure legal, policy, procedure, and brand compliance.

Experience and qualifications

• Previous Human Resources experience in the hospitality industry.
• Five years of related HR management experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, HR practices, payroll, and employee relations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret HR data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• Fluent English and Arabic; other languages may be preferred.
