Work with infrastructure engineers and researchers to provide reliable computing environments for scientific and AI workloads.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain HPC infrastructure, Linux systems, schedulers, shared storage, GPU software, and containers.
- Support researchers with software environments and workload troubleshooting; diagnose hardware, network, storage, and performance problems.
- Automate administration, monitor health and capacity, tune performance, and support infrastructure expansion and hardware validation.
- Maintain operational documentation and configuration records, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Practical experience administering HPC clusters, GPU infrastructure, or large-scale Linux environments.
- Linux administration skills and proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.
- Experience with a scheduler or orchestration platform, configuration management, Git, and container technologies.
- Knowledge of GPU drivers and CUDA, shared or parallel storage, networking, and high-performance interconnects.
- MPI, NCCL, distributed training, scientific computing, cloud HPC, or infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 1–3 years of relevant experience in HPC, Linux systems administration, or infrastructure engineering.
