Role overview
Supervise daily housekeeping operations and room attendants to ensure standards are followed and cleanliness is maintained in related areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and delegate daily tasks and provide attendants with keys, supplies, and other resources.
- Handle guest requests and complaints and follow up effectively.
- Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and compliance with hotel quality standards.
- Monitor room status, communicate updates, and release rooms to Front Office.
- Report room damage and broken equipment to Engineering and manage lost-and-found items under set procedures.
- Order housekeeping supplies and follow inventory procedures to maintain adequate stock.
- Evaluate attendant performance, provide feedback, and report performance issues to housekeeping leadership.
- Train room attendants on standards of performance and hotel quality standards.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2–3 years of previous hotel-industry experience is preferred.
- Strategic leadership and team-management ability, a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.
