The Commis II joins the kitchen team and prepares food according to kitchen performance standards, Outlet Chef instructions, and recipes.
The hotel property includes Swissôtel Al Ghurair and Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair in Deira, Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Maintain hygiene and maintenance standards in the assigned kitchen section.
- Follow ADFCA HACCP guidelines to ensure food hygiene and safety.
- Support the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily operations and cover section responsibilities when the supervisor is absent.
- Prepare food to menu specifications, including presentation and portions.
- Organize the section according to the Outlet Chef's plan.
- Use inventory economically, maintain supplies, and prevent waste and spoilage.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hotel industry experience is preferred.
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and cohesively with a team.
- Able to focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous.
